Saturday August 18th proved to be a very busy day for East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers.

The day consisted of the Company providing EMS support for the East Brandywine Townships 5K Run for the Parks in the morning.

Following the run volunteers shifted gears and then focused on their attention on Community Day. All of the Company's equipment was on display and they provided a vehicle rescue demonstration for those in attendance. Additionally they landed JeffSTAT 3 a medical helicopter which the crowd enjoyed seeing.

As evening approached preparations were made for our annual fireworks celebration. Fortunately the weather cooperated and the event was an incredible success. Residents enjoyed a DJ, moon bounce, Sabatinos food truck and Rita' water ice.
