Black Friday House Fire

On Friday morning Novembers 23rd, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers assisted the West Bradford Fire Company on a house fire in the 1400 block of Gallagherville Road

Engine 49-1, Engine 49-5, and Utility 49 responded with a total of sixteen volunteers to assist.

Captain 49 arrived on-scene and reported smoke showing from the roof. Chief 39 arrived on-scene shortly thereafter and assumed command. The fire was quickly brought under control and personnel turned their attention to salvage and overhaul.

Our thoughts are with the homeowners whose home unfortunately was significantly damaged.
