On Thursday March 7th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to the 400 block of Water Street in Honey Brook Borough for the working house fire.

Upon dispatch by the Chester County 911 Center it was reported that the fire was in the basement. Upon arrival of the first in Engine (33-1) crews encountered heavy black smoke upon gaining entry.

Two lines were stretched, a water supply was secured an the working fire dispatch was struck. The bulk of the fire was extinguished within about 10 minutes following arrival.
