On Wednesday September 10th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to responded to a home on Blakely Road for suspected chemical burns. In addition Glen Moore Fire Company and Downingtown Ambulance were also due on the assignment.

It was reported that a resident sustained chemical burns as a result of mixing pool chemicals which reacted violently. After evaluating the patient medical personnel requested helicopter based on the nature of the injuries.

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine Fire Company are praying for the victims speedy recovery and also for the family.
