On Tuesday September 16th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers assisted with a ball drop at Applecross Country Club.

The ball drop was in conjunction with a golf tournament for the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group. Over 100 balls were dropped as a fundraiser in which the person closest to the pin won $1,000.

For those who are interested no measuring was needed to determine who was closest to the pin. Upon dropping one ball actually went into the hole.
