On the morning of Tuesday February 28th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers assisted the Honey Brook Fire Company on a minor chimney fire.

The incident occurred in the 900 block of Compass Road.

Honey Brook Fire Company volunteers arrived on location shortly after dispatch and quickly contained a small chimney fire. Upon arrival of Ladder 49 the chimney was laddered and personnel cleaned out the remainder of the burning debris.

Ladder 49 cleared the scene and returned to quarters within an hour of being dispatched.
