On the evening of Thursday March 2nd, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to assist the West Bradford Fire Company on a reported chimney fire.

Engine 39-3 arrived on location and reported light smoke coming from the chimney, and instructed Ladder 49 to set up the aerial upon arrival. Once in place, Ladder 49 personnel in a coordinated effort with Engine 39-3 personnel dropped chains down the chimney.

The incident was quickly brought under control and units returned to the Station within under an hour of the initial response.
