On Monday May 1st, the Applecross Country Club played host to the East Brandywine Fire & Police Services Golf Outing. This important fundraising event helps us financially continue to fulfill our mission, which is to deliver high quality emergency services to the Community.

According to Fire Chief John Edwards "this golf outing is yet another way we raise funds, but also equally as important it allows us to connect with our Community while partnering with local businesses". Edwards also added "the event additionally continues to foster a great working relationship between ourselves and our law enforcement colleagues".

Some 92 golfers participated in this years event and many commented on the hospitality they experienced throughout the day.

Overall the day could not have been more successful and we appreciate all of the leadership at Applecross Country Club for making the event a reality.

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine Fire Company would like to thank the sponsors. Without their generosity and financial support this day would not have been a reality

Additionally special thanks to Linda Bowers who recently retired from Applecross Country Club for organizing a first class event.
