On Wednesday evening May 3rd, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in their on-going training series focused on water supply operations. This particular training reviewed hose lays to include: forward lays, reverse lays, and split lays.

Over the course of the evening volunteers laid 1,200 feet of 5 inch hose. Lieutenant PJ Groff stated "I am proud of the team, it is a big commitment to lay that amount of 5 inch hose and repack it during an evening training session".

Next week volunteers will be participating in porta-tank operations which is an essential component of rural water supply.
