Company Receives Important Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG)

We are pleased to announce that the East Brandywine Fire Company has been awarded a Department of Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grant in the amount of $46,547.

This grant money will allow the Fire Company to purchase additional hydraulic rescue tools to augment its current compliment.

Captain Joe Monestere stated, “We can’t be more pleased that the Company was awarded this grant, the purchase of these tools will allow us to improve upon our service delivery while keeping up with new car technology”.

Treasurer Ken Ader added “this type of grant award is invaluable it allows us to diversify our revenue sources to ease the local burden on residents”.

The Officers and Members of the East Brandywine Fire Company would like to thank Firehouse Grants for their assistance with securing this award.
