On Wednesday evening May 24th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in their weekly training session. The focus of this weeks training session was rural water supply.

Over the course of two and a half hours Assistant Chief Engineer John Needles walked the group through the porta-tank operations as well as establishing a fill site. Needles said "both of these functions are critical if you want to establish a sustainable fire flow in a rural environment". Needles also added that "this is something the ISO Public Protection Classification System focuses on when evaluating your Township".

The Line Officers of East Brandywine Fire Company would like to thank all of the volunteers who continue to routinely turn out to training to enhance their skill set.
