On Wednesday evening June 28th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers training continued to centered around advancing hose lines. Over the course of the last month volunteers have trained on pulling attack lines and repacking them.

This evenings training focused specifically on running initial attack lines long distances. Participants were forced to have to extend their hose lines in order to reach the seat of the fire. Adding to the challenge volunteers had to enter the structure on the second floor and negotiate their way down the stairwell to extinguish the fire.

Ben Mucha FF/EMT said "we learned a lot tonight, this type of training is invaluable". Mucha said "it gives us the opportunity to work out some kinks on the training ground so they don't translate to the fire ground".

The Line Officers would like to thank all of the volunteers who continue to attend training, the turnout is outstanding!
