On Saturday July 1st East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to an auto accident on Route 82 in the area of Beaver Creek Road in West Brandywine Township.

Upon arrival personnel encountered a two vehicle accident involving 3 potential patients. While crews from Engine 49-1 handled hazard mitigation and information gathering, EMS assessed the patients. Ultimately 2 patients were transported to a local hospital.

While on-scene Chester County Fire Radio notified the Company of a second accident on Route 322 in East Brandywine Township.

Upon arrival Deputy 49 reported a two vehicle accident with one occupant still in the vehicle. Personnel from Engine 49-1 proceeded to remove the doors and the "B" post due to the level of intrusion on the driver side of the car.

One patient was treated and transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
