On Wednesday evening August 9th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers had very busy evening entertaining a special visit and training on multiple topics.

The Wright family dropped by the Fire House to visit with EBFC volunteers. The Wrights own The Wright Agency (Downingtown, PA), and both live and work in East Brandywine Township. They have always been supporters of the Fire Company. This evening they donated a “thin red line” flag which they had made for the Station and also gave our team a donation.

All of the Officers and Members of the Fire Company would like to thank the Wrights for their continued support as well as all the other families whose support help us thrive.

Additionally volunteers participated in a variety of training activities. The evening kicked off with the EMS Division reviewing the new changes and additions to the States EMS protocols.

Following the EMS presentation for EMT's, personnel debriefed and critiqued this passed weekends fire which occurred in Caln Township. Our volunteers are always challenging themselves to seek out areas of improvement so we can have superior service delivery.

The evening concluded with a refresher on vehicle rescue techniques.
