On Monday September 11th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in multiple ceremonies commemorating the tragic events of 9/11.

The ceremonies were held at Friendship Elementary School, Reeceville Elementary School, and Brandywine Wallace Elementary School.

Each ceremony was special in its own right, and focused predominantly on patriotism and the heroic actions taken by First Responders and Civilians on that fateful day.

Thanks to all the School Leadership, Staff, and children who helped make each event very special.

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine Fire Company would also like to recognize the East Brandywine Police Department and the West Brandywine Police Department who were both present at the ceremonies.
