On Wednesday evening February 7th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in vehicle rescue training with an emphasis on stabilization.

Training Officer Chris Keen and Captain P.J. Groff lead the training in which they walked all those in attendance through the various options to stabilize a vehicle. Training Officer Keen specifically reviewed wooden cribbing basics, and Captain Groff reviewed the use of the Junk Yard Dogs.

After the overview participants broke into groups and practiced cribbing a vehicle utilizing both forms of stabilization.
