On Thursday afternoon February 8th at around 1:20pm East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to a garage fire in the 1100 block of Horseshoe Pike.

Shortly after dispatch East Brandywine Police Officers arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from a 3 car detached garage.

Engine 49-5 and Ladder 49 made the response in addition to Chief 49. First arriving crews forced entry into the garage and quickly extinguished a small fire.

Special thanks to our mutual aide partners: Thorndale Fire Company, Glen Moore Fire Company, Honey Brook Fire Company, and the Downingtown Fire Department for their assistance. Also thanks to the Chester County Fire Marshals office who are currently investigating the origin and cause of the fire.

Also thank-you to Mark Walsh of IrishEyez Emergency Services Photographs for some of the pictures.
