Joint Training Session with a Mutual Aid Partner

On Wednesday evening April 11th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in a joint training session with the Thorndale Fire Company. The training session was hosted by the VA Hospital Fire Department.

The evening proved to be very successful with members from both organizations participating in multiple evolution's of a simulated fire attack. Areas of emphasis included: hose line advancement, search and rescue, as well as ancillary services.

East Brandywine Fire Company Captain PJ Groff who helped facilitate the training said "this type of training allows us the opportunity to become more familiar with one another as well as work with each others equipment".

Chief Vince D'Amico said "we are looking forward to more joint training sessions with our mutual aid partners in the future".

The Officers and Members of East Brandywine Fire Company would like to thank the VA Hospital Fire Department for their hospitality and use of their campus.
