During the mid-morning hours of Thursday April 19th East Brandywine Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident in West Brandywine Township.

The incident occurred in front of Freedom Village Retirement Community and Friendship Elementary School. This accident exacerbated traffic problems in an area which is already heavily congested under normal traffic conditions.

Fortunately both occupants required no medical treatment. Crews remained on-scene to manage fluids leaking from the vehicles and clean up debris.
