On Sunday evening April 22nd East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to the STEM Academy to assist the Downingtown Fire Department on a building fire.

Upon arrival personnel from responding Companies encountered a small fire in the chemistry lab which was contained by a fire suppression system. Command alerted the Hazmat team who responded to assist given material involved.

East Brandywine personnel were on scene for a little more then an hour before being returned.
