Wednesday April 25th proved to be a busy evening for the volunteers of East Brandywine Fire Company. In addition to their routinely scheduled training session those in attendance participated in a variety of other activities.

The evening started with a dinner to honor one of our volunteers who is a member of the military and just returned from a deployment overseas.

Following the dinner volunteers performed apparatus checks in which all of the equipment was assessed to ensure proper functionality. Additionally our Engineers investigated a source of an antifreeze leak on our Engine.

Once checks and reviews were completed training was conducted under the watchful eye of our Captain P.J. Groff. While the main focus was placed on automobile fires. Additional training took place on the Ladder and ATV Unit.
