On the afternoon of Saturday June 3rd the East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers were dispatched to an auto-accident reported serious on Route 82.

Shortly after dispatch, the accident was upgraded and a Medic Unit was added for entrapment. Chief 49 arrived on-scene and indicated 2 cars were involved with multiple patients however no one was trapped.

Personnel from Engine 49-1, Engine 49-5, QRS 49 and Utility 49 handled hazard mitigation, traffic control, and assisted with patient assessment. Units remained on-scene for approximately 30 minutes prior to clearing.
