On Saturday June 16th members of East Brandywine Fire Company and the Lionville Fire Company completed their final day of Rapid Intervention Training (RIT).

The course was provided by Bucks County Community College and instructed by FF Ben Serfass. FF Serfass is not only an instructor at Bucks County Community College, but also a career Philadelphia firefighter and a volunteer at East Brandywine Fire Company.

This sixteen hour course provided invaluable instruction in RIT operations and tactics.

Chief Vince D'Amico said "I can't be more proud of our team, despite many of our members already possessing the certificate for this course, they attended the training to continue to advance their skills".

The Line Officers would like to thank Instructor Serfass for his excellent instruction and willingness to explore different tactics to advance the groups knowledge.

Additionally thank-you to Photographer Mark Walsh for the great photographs.
