On Monday August 19th at 12:48pm the volunteers from East Brandywine Fire Company were dispatched to assist Glen Moore Fire Company on a motor vehicle accident in the 900 block of Little Conestoga Rd. Engines 49-1 and 49-5 made the response with 10 volunteers.

While enroute to the scene the accident was upgraded to with entrapment. Due to the updated info the next due company (Lionville) was requested to respond as well to assist with extrication.

Engine 49-1 arrived to find an SUV on it's side with a single occupant still trapped in the vehicle. Crews from East Brandywine, Glen Moore and Lionville worked to stabilize the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the victim. Once extricated the patient was transported to an area hospital by Uwchlan Ambulance. Crews operated for just under 45 minutes.
