On Wednesday evening April 17th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers participated in vehicle rescue training.

Twenty-five personnel attended the training in which a two car head-on collision was simulated.

According to Captain PJ Groff "we wanted to treat this evening like and actual emergency and allow the process to unfold naturally". Crews worked on door and roof removal as well as dash rolls.

Chief Vince D'Amico praised the group at the end of the evening, not only for the phenomenal turn-out but also for their teamwork.

Special thanks to Miller's Automotive in Downingtown for allowing us to use their facility.
