On Wednesday night before drill the members got a nice surprise. Engine 49-1 after spending 8 weeks at Fire Line Equipment in Blue Ball returned to the station looking like a completely different truck.

The Engine was sent to Fireline to have it's preventative maintenance done along with numerous other updates and fixes to the truck.

That included:
All Emergency Lighting was updated to LED
Seats were reupholstered
New line x door panels on the cab
Minor body repairs
Rear of the truck chevron was done to match the other trucks
All new ball joints & tie rod ends
New Muffler
New fuel tank and foam tank gauge sending units
Steering box replaced
Corrosion issues fixed

As you can see the truck had a lot done to it in 8 weeks and shortly after arriving back at the station the members had all the equipment back on it and the truck was placed back in service and ready to respond again.
