On Sunday evening just before 5:30 the company along with MICU 46 were dispatched to Bondsville Rd & E Reeceville Rd for an accident reported serious. Initial reports were of 1 vehicle off the roadway with possibly one subject injured still in the vehicle.

Utility 49 made the response from the station immediately after dispatch and arrived to find one vehicle on the front lawn of a residence. The vehicle had appeared to have left the roadway and struck a mailbox and possibly something else before coming to rest. Police were on scene already as well. Deputy 49, Chief 49, Assistant 49 and Battalion 49 all responded and arrived a short time later followed by Engine 49-1 and QRS 49.

There was no entrapment and crews from the Utility and Deputy 49 assisted EMS with the patient. During the incident Utility 49 and QRS 49 had Bondsville Rd closed down between 322 and E Reeceville Rd.

While crews were on scene of this incident waiting for the tow truck to arrive a second emergency was dispatched for a medical emergency that required a fire response in West Brandywine. Deputy 49, Battalion 49, QRS 49 and Engine 49-1 all made the response immediately.
