Two Vehicle Accident sends one to hospital on Reeceville Rd

On Tuesday morning October 8th just before 10am the volunteers from East Brandywine along with an ambulance from Westwood were dispatched to Reeceville Rd & Hurley Rd for the auto accident. Deputy 49 went responding and was advised that the call was being upgraded to add a medic due to one subject having trouble breathing.

Engine 49-1 & QRS 49 along with Ambulance 144 and Medic 93 also made the response. Upon arrival crews found two vehicles with one partially blocking the roadway. EMT's began to check on injuries while the crew from Engine 49-1 started to clean up the debris and fluids that were on the roadway.

One patient did require transport to the hospital. Flings Towing also had two trucks on location to remove the vehicles.

EBFC responded with a total of 8 volunteers for this call. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured party.
