Odor Investigation at Police Station

On Saturday afternoon October 12th just before 3pm the company was dispatched to the East Brandywine Police Department for the odor investigation inside. One of the officers that was just coming on duty notice an odor of something burning inside the building and had the fire company dispatched.

Engine 49-5, Ladder 49, Engine 49-1, Utility 49, Chief and Deputy 49 all made the response. Deputy 49 arrived first and confirmed an odor of something burning in the building. Engine 49-5 arrived on location and stretched an 1 3/4 handline just as a precaution and crews went inside to try to find the source of the smell.

After being on location for approx. 1 hour the company was able to clear the scene and turned it over to the township. No fire was found.
