On Wednesday afternoon October 23rd just before 3:30pm the company was dispatched along with Ambulance 144 to the intersection of Bondsville Rd & Hadfield Rd for the auto accident reported as two vehicles.

Engine 49-1 made the response first followed by QRS 49 who was just clearing another call in town. Upon arrival of the Engine they had 2 vehicle's partially blocking. Crews split up and started checking on the involved parties while others directed traffic around the scene. One of the passengers of a vehicle involved was unable to get out of the vehicle due to their door being damaged and it was determined the crew would need to remove the passenger side door to allow EMS access to the patient.

The crew from 49-1 was able to remove the door quickly and allowed access. One the patients were loaded into the ambulance, Flings towing was already on site and got both vehicles hooked up and ready tow. Crews did some minor cleanup of debris on the roadway and cleared shortly after.
