On Wednesday evening November 13th we hosted our monthly business meeting followed by our annual re-certification for CPR / AED. Fifty of our committed volunteers attended the meeting and training session.

During the monthly meeting Chief Vince D'Amico recognized FF Ed Batykefer and FF Katie Karnis for successfully completing the National PRO Board Fire Fighting 1 program.

Following the meeting Deputy Chief Joe Edwards conducted the CPR / AED re-certification training. This training proves to be invaluable for our team! Within the last week and a half alone the Company has responded to two cardiac arrests in which a heartbeat was restored prior to transport.
