On Tuesday December 17th in the early afternoon East Brandywine volunteers were dispatched to assist Station 6 West Whiteland on a working fire at the Macy's inside of Exton Square Mall.

Engine 49-2 and Ladder 49 responded with a total of 12 volunteers and upon arrival the crew from the Ladder put the aerial up to the roof and sent a crew up to check for any fire.

Engine 49-2's crew stood by and and assisted interior crews. Members were on scene for approximately 1 hour.
