Last week East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers continued to remain very active responding to multiple calls while also participating in both formal and impromptu training.

Two of those calls included accidents on Dowlin Forge Road and the other on Dilworth Road. In both situations East Brandywine personnel treated injured patients who were sent to local hospitals and mitigated the hazardous conditions created as a result of the crashes.

In addition to responding to multiple calls during the week, last Saturday some of our more experienced members took the time to train with our less experienced members. Over the course of the morning they reviewed the "5-minute" drill as well techniques for pulling hose loads.
