On Saturday May 16th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers underwent antibody testing for the COVID-19 virus.

The testing was performed in collaboration with Dr. Christine Meyers and her team of committed professionals. This serology blood test identifies the presence of antibodies that indicate that a person had an immune response to SARS-CoV-2.

As an organization our goal is to always care for our personnel and make health and safety a top priority. Fifty members turned out and underwent testing which should prove useful with future planning.
