On Sunday July 5th at 2:30pm the members were once again dispatched for a vehicle fire this time on Echo Dell Rd in the Township.

Battalion 49, Engine 49-5, Engine 49-2 and Deputy 49 all made the response. Upon arrival crews found a riding mower on the front lawn with a fire in the engine compartment. Crews stretched the 1 3/4 handline off the bumper of Engine 49-5 and quickly extinguished the fire.

Once the fire was completely out and the mower was cooled down the members pushed it up the driveway for the owner and put it in a safe location for them.

Crews were clear after approx. 15 minutes.
