At 03:31 am this morning the EBFC volunteers were dispatched along with multiple other companies to assist the Honey Brook Fire Company on a reported house fire in Honey Brook Township.

The fire was reported in the 6400blk of Emery Ln and was quickly upgraded to a commercial fire by the county when it was determined to be a fire in a large barn-like structure at Sweet Water Woodworks.

Chief 33 arrived quickly and reported the building to be fully involved and requested a tanker task force.

Ladder, Rescue, and Utility 49 all made the response and upon arrival set up outside of the building as the RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) which is there specifically in case a firefighter was to get hurt or lost inside of the structure.

Luckily the RIT was not needed at all during this fire. Members stood by on scene until approx. 7 am when they were released.
