Shortly after 4 am on Monday 5/24/2021, Thorndale Fire Company along with multiple mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 300blk of Andrew Cir in Caln Township for a reported townhome fire. Initial reports came from a resident across the street stating they could see fire at the front door and thought people may be trapped in the residence.

Deputy 37 from Modena Fire Company was the first to arrive and reported two units well off and requested the working fire dispatch and PECO due to the meter sparking out front.

Crews from Thorndale, Coatesville, VAFD, and several others arrived and began to go to work on the fire. Due to heavy fire conditions and fire being in the roof of several units a 2nd Alarm and 3rd Alarm were requested within moments of each other.

Engines 49-2, 49-5, QRS49, and Utility 49 all made the response from EBFC. On their arrival crews went to work assisting crews on the scene. Members from 49 were on the scene for approx. 2 hours before being released from the scene.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the residents that were affected by this fire.
