Shortly after 1:30 am on 6/5/2021, the box alarm was dispatched for the 1000blk of Suplee Rd in Honey Brook for a reported house fire. Initial reports were from the homeowner stating the whole house was on fire and that they were evacuating the residence.

Chief 33 arrived on location first and reported a 1 story Single Family Dwelling with smoke showing. Crews from 33 arrived shortly after and immediately went to work with multiple handlines.

Ladder, Rescue, and Engine 49-5 all made the response within minutes of each other. Crews arrived on the scene and were sent to the roof to open up and allow the heat and smoke to exit the residence. While opening up the roof fire became visible at one point through one of the vent holes. The fire was quickly extinguished by the hoseline crews.

3 lines were in service for the fire and crews remained on scene for a little over an hour before clearing.

Thank you to West Whiteland Engine 6-1 for covering our local while we were on location at this fire.
