On August 1st at 7:56 pm, EBFC along with MICU 46 were dispatched to Creek Rd & Hawk Hill Rd in East Brandywine Township for a single-vehicle accident with the vehicle reported on its side.

Chief, Rescue, Utility, and QRS 49 all made the response. While en route crews were advised by dispatch that there were no injuries however the Police were still requesting the fire department response due to the vehicle being in a bad spot and on its side.

Upon the arrival of EBFC volunteers, they found a pickup truck on its side in the roadway with everyone out of the vehicle. Crews worked to clean up the roadway and stabilized the vehicle with our Res-Q-Jack struts to allow the owner to retrieve some of their property safely from the vehicle.

Crews remained on scene until the vehicle was removed by Flings Towing.
