As most families began to sit down at the dinner table to enjoy their Thanksgiving meals the volunteers from East Brandywine Fire Company were being dispatched to assist the West Whiteland Fire Company along with several other companies for the working house fire in the 100blk of Boot Rd.

Immediately after dispatch Police Officers from West Whiteland reported a large column of smoke in the air and confirmed a working fire in a vacant residence. Ladder 49 & Engine 49-2 made the response with 12 volunteers. Upon arrival crews from EBFC assisted with fire attack and opening up the second floor of the residence while several other members from Ladder 49 stood by outside and assisted.

Crews were on scene for under an hour before being released by command.
