Every job on the scene of an emergency is important. That includes being able to properly pump the truck and supply the firefighters with the water they need to extinguish the flames.

The last two weeks an average of 20 members have attended training that was focused on our newer drivers and allowing them to get some pump time while also allowing some of the other members time to stretch hose lines and practice connecting the truck to a fire hydrant as well.

There is a lot to learn about pumping a truck which makes hands on training very important.

All of our newer drivers did a fantastic job!!
