On Sunday afternoon as firefighters from the City of Coatesville and surrounding departments were battling a two alarm fire on E Chestnut St, Ladder 49 was requested to respond to Station 41 (Coatesville) to cover their area.

While en-route to the city the Ladder was requested to respond to the scene to assist. The crew made the response and arrived within minutes and were assigned to assist in the rear with opening up the roof.

Crews operated on the roof for approximately one hour before being released by command.
