On Saturday afternoon just before 3:30p.m. East Brandywine volunteers along with EMS from Minquas Fire Company were dispatched to Route 322 & Glory Maple Ln for an auto accident.

Initial reports were of a Sedan vs a Box Truck with the Box Truck on it's side blocking traffic.

Chief, Deputy, Rescue, Engine, QRS and Utility 49 all made the response. Upon arrival crews found a sedan in the westbound lanes partially blocking and the box truck on it's right side across the eastbound lanes blocking traffic. All occupants from both vehicles were already self extricated from the vehicles.

Crews performed hazard control while also performing traffic control around the scene. While units operated on scene the eastbound lanes were closed at Bollinger Rd while the westbound lanes remained open. Flings Towing arrived and quickly up-righted the box truck and removed it from the roadway. Once both vehicles were clear all units made themselves available and the roadway was re-opened.

One subject was transported by Minquas with minor injuries.
