East Brandywine Fire Company kicked off our “Conversation Series” of training by hosting Battalion Chief Brian Bastinelli of Harrisburg Bureau of Fire on Sunday January 15th
.
32 EBFC volunteers as well as 15 Volunteers from West Whiteland Fire Company participated in the training.

Chief Bastinelli reviewed foundational elements of firefighting while also addressing fire ground size up and strategies.

All the participants would like to thank Chief Bastinelli for his thoughtful and engaging presentation. We look forward to next month when Larry Schultz, current Assistant Chief of Ann Arundel County and Retired Chief of Operations of Washington DC Fire & EMS, presents "Leadership in the Fire Service."
