EBFC continued rapid intervention team training Wednesday night. Chief D'Amico and Lieutenant Needles led 27 firefighters on the third night of our rapid intervention team training series.
Using our training containers filled with smoke and debris, firefighters practiced locating and removing a downed firefighter from an interior collapse situation. Crews utilized the RIT equipment carried on both Ladder and Rescue 49, to package the downed firefighter and remove them from the building.
