Early on Monday morning at approximately 3:21am Lionville Fire Company along with mutual aid were dispatched to the 200 block of Byers Rd in Upper Uwchlan Township for a report of a building on fire after an explosion. Police arrived within seconds and confirmed a working fire with fire through the roof of a veterinary clinic that was under renovation.

Ladder 49 made the response and upon arrival set up the RIT on side A of the building while other members worked to place ground ladders around all sides of the building. A short time later the RIT was stood down and crews were placed in service with fire attic on the second floor and attic area of the building.

EBFC crews were on scene for several hours before clearing
