On Wednesday, January 3rd the East Brandywine Fire Company was alerted for Engine 49-5 to assist Keystone Valley Fire Company on the 1st Alarm Tanker Task Force at a working house fire in their local. Engine 49-5 made the response a short time later with a crew of 4.

Shortly after 49-5 made the response the company was dispatched again this time in our first due local to Hopewell and N Buck for the auto accident reported serious. Two EMS units from Minquas Fire Company were requested to the scene also. Crews remained on scene for approx. 30 minutes providing traffic control, hazard control and assisting EMS.
