Two nights of training this week for the EBFC volunteers.
On Wednesday evening members were led by Training Officer Peta for week two of our training on Forceable Entry. Crews went over different forceable entry techniques and the tools used to complete entry.
These are very important techniques for our crews to learn as seconds count at a fire scene and quick entry is essential. After a quick powerpoint discussion inside crews went out to our training area and put their knowledge to the test and utilized some of our saws to practice cutting.

On Thursday night our EMS crews took part in training on new BLS (Basic Life Support) Protocol updates. Instructor Tanner Kouba went over all of the updates and provided an overview of BLS Basic Skills. After a short powerpoint the groups broke into basic skills stations.
30 members attended training on Wednesday with another 20 attending on Thursday night
