On Thursday, May 23, Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner Tom Cook, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Harvey Boyer, visited East Brandywine Fire Company (EBFC49). The visit included a tour of the station, a round table discussion, and a shared lunch.

EBFC49 Officers, along with various County and Local Officials, gathered in the Engine room to discuss crucial topics such as operational funding, recruitment and retention, long-term planning, and community involvement. Following the productive discussion, everyone enjoyed lunch and fellowship together.

Commissioner Cook left with a highly favorable impression of EBFC49 and Chester County Emergency Services. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Commissioner Cook and Deputy Commissioner Boyer for their time and interest in our operations!
