Last evening at 6:41 PM, the East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched, along with several other area companies, to assist the Honey Brook Fire Company with a Commercial Building Fire at Bakery Feeds in Honey Brook.

Initial reports indicated a fire in the ductwork, and the building was being evacuated.

🚒 Responding Units from East Brandywine:

Engine 49-2
Engine 49-5
Ladder 49
Rescue 49
Utility 49-1
A total of 25 volunteers from our company responded swiftly after dispatch.

Upon arrival, crews from Honey Brook's Engine 33-1 reported smoke showing, laid a supply line, and stretched a handline to the fire. Despite frigid temperatures, crews worked diligently to contain the fire, which was fortunately held to the ductwork outside the building.

At 7:35 PM, Ladder 49, Rescue 49, and Utility 49 were released from the scene, while Engine 49-2 relocated to Station 33 to cover their local area until all units cleared the scene.
